The other thing you might wanna look into is researching different ways to draw back. How I draw my bow now is a lot different from when I started. Had someone recorded me going through the motions and found my bow shoulder was rotating to much during my draw. How I sort of drop in down and back to lock it out during the draw.
I think if it was my rotator cuff I'd be It a lot more pain and wouldn't me able to move my arm as much as I can
My shoulder would hurt right here like I attempted to describe earlier. I don't know if this is what was wrong. But I iced it as much as I could. I didn't put a lot of heat on it. But resting it helped the most and when it felt better, I did the exercises I mentioned previously. I hope this helps man!
Yeah that seems like the area where mine is. One day I drew back and heard it kinda pull and that's when it began to hurt. I'll start icing it. How long did it take to get better?
You'd be surprised with the rotator cuff. A tear is painful, but the tendinitis is a constant and dull ache and quite annoying lol
Try some light yoga from utube. Search on back and shoulder pain. Hurt mine and tried it, made a huge difference. But like these guys said, start with rest.
Yeah I don't have that. Only hurts when I go to draw back but with my every day activities I don't feel it. Except maybe alittle if I sleep on it
Where do you have the bow in when you begin to draw, do you bring the bow up as you draw do you kind of have the bow high and then draw or is it out in front of you at the read as you begin to draw. Do you have your bow arm locked or do you push out with your bow arm as you are pulling the string. This is a good video example of what I was talking about with shoulder position.
