If it is preventing something that their constituents want to prevent then, yes, they are representing them.
If their actions are supported by the state's constitution.....then I applaud them for exhausting all efforts. But, my guess is there's gonna come a time when their presence is demanded. Are you guys OK with what occurs when they show up?
I am on a break, I am playing in a Texas holdem tournament. Jeff I have answered those questions so many times in this very thread. We all know pretty much where we all stand. Everyone have a great night. When they show up to vote, how it turns out is ok with me. They can always put it to the voters later.
Hmmmm, I remember a few years ago with Diamond "Jim" Doyle ramrodded a 1.2 Billion dollar tax increase thru real quick like....did the republicans jump ship and bail from the state boundaries ? No, they voted against it even tho they knew they could not stop it because the dems had control at the time. I hope that the voters remember all these people who have jumped ship the next time the elections come up.
