Ok so reading walkers budget. Wis folks does it bother you walker wants to take away local gov ability to raise property taxes? Right now I get a chance to vote yes or no for my property taxes. So if we want raise taxes to help local school we can or cannot. Walker wants to take that ability away from local government. Is that right?
Jason, better read the bill, out of state residents that own properties in Wisconsin that aren't lived in full time, their taxes are going to at least triple!
I guess some like big brother more. I like the fact I can vote for local issues. Most of the time it does not matter, my wife votes yes and I vote no.
What is sad is that I have never been to the cabin The darn thing is in the Wife and her Father's name, I never knew about it for the first two years we were married. We haven't been up there because her Grandma has Alzheimer's and she helps her dad take care of her every weekend.
