    How often does the BHOD prostaff hunt on public land?

    I do if i go out of state. Which is usually for turkeys. Too busy in the fall with harvesting crops to travel. Its a different kind of hunting for sure.

    I do for turkey's occasionally, but haven't for deer in a few years. There's quite a bit of public land near where I live, but there's a lot of hunting pressure around here.

    Its been a few years for me hunting public land, but this year I plan on hunting some ground right over the Illinois line just to mix it up. I've had great success in the past hunting southern IL and western Wis for deer and turkeys.
