hey guy, I came across some public land that I am hoping to hunt this fall. I have yet to get out and scout the land but I am hoping to do so on Monday. I have marked potential stand locations but I am looking for some additional suggestions. Any insights would be great! Thanks!

I really like the way this is set up. Lots of ambush spots in this and I think yal have done a good job on finding them. Looks like there might be a ditch that runs off into the middle of the woods. You could use it to access some of your stands or look for low spots where those deer are crossing. Can't really see it on an aerial but there could potentially be a good funnel somewhere on that ditch.

walk along that creek or water source and see where they are crossing at.

IMG_4722.JPG I think that bottom circled spot would be money look at all the travel routes they could come from
Looks like a nice public spot!

When you do scout it see if you can find out if there are any trails in there. I had a couple of does spooked away by hikers and a random guy park it ten feet from my tree to keep the deer away.

zachd's sketch of the southern part of the property is spot on. Looks like a nice little hub similar to a place I'm hunting and has TONS of deer traffic. Looking at that layout however, there seems to be a ton of potential hotspots there. Myself, I'd likely start off in that Southern hub then expand from there. Nice find for a public spot.
