Is it worth creating and maintaining a mineral site on public land, where another hunter could possibly slip in and take deer off of while your away?
Illegal in KY. Might need to check your regulations. That being said I've had people steal my mineral blocks on my own property much less public land. Certainly wouldn't put cameras over it.
ive used mineral sites pre and post season and sometimes but not always during the season only because in my region of georgia it IS legal and i hunt primarily on private/leased hunting properties, but i hadnt considered that it may be illegal on public land. thank you for the feedback, dont think they make handcuffs in camo LOL
