I am from Texas and am going to Joplin Missouri for thanksgiving and then again for Christmas. I am wanting to hunt some public land around that area.

I have a few properties in mind: Tipton Ford Access, Robert E. Talbot, and Bushwacker.

Any suggestions, ideas, and tips would be greatly appreciated. I will only have a few days to scout, set up and hunt.

Get on the Missouri Dept of Conservation website. You can get google earth aerials from it as well as topo maps. I hunt central MO and don't know anything about those areas. However, the website is a good start. good luck.
