I'm not usually one to share my pics because I hunt a 90% of public land. I had this buck coming into my mineral site for about a week almost every day since he shed his velvet I have not seen him at all. I have walked 100's of acres and haven't even seen a rub that I feel would have been from him. Since he had turned ghost what do you think he would score?
I'm not very good at it but mine was a decent bit smaller and he was a 145 my guess is 160 here's mine
Not sure what part of the state you are hunting and I hunt in west central Minnesota and I have seen very few Rubs or scrapes so far this year. I did see a buck chasing a doe about a week ago but that's it. Do you have GPS coordinates to where you got the pictures of that Buck so I can get my eyes on him and let you know for sure what I think score LOL!!!!!
I was just down in southeast Minnesota in a couple weeks ago about 3 miles outside of Elba. There's lots of Biggins down there. He's a dandy good luck with him!!!
Yes. Elba has some nice deer it's not far from whitewater which has some really nice deer. I'm a little further south but the antler point restriction is helping out the quality of bucks for sure in the big public woods.
I'd say safe to assume he'd be in the 160 range, depends on what he looked like after shedding velvet.
I really hope he is 160's + I'm holding out hope that I'll see him again and my first all day sit will be tomorrow.
