After getting to my stand MUCH later than I was hoping for, and dripping with sweat from the walk in, I pretty much called my hunt a bust before it even got started. As it turned out, I was able to fill my freezer a whole lot quicker than I bargained for.
Thanks guys! Sure takes the pressure off a bit when you know your freezer is full. I've got 2 good bucks I've been watching all summer. but now that I am not rushing to get some venison, I'll kick one of the two back to my pass list and hope he makes it through the season and winter.
I just filmed my stepson miss his first deer the other day. His nerves got the best of him. lol. I told him it happens too us all, but he was still pretty bummed. Still plenty of time to fill a tag though.
