Hi Daniel, Noob in training as well. Been doing a lot of research here and on the WWW. Keep an eye out for the NAP Apache Carbon rest - Only weighs 4oz - NAP seems to have great reviews on the forum. TrueGlo also has great reviews here and the Trueglo Carbon XS weighs in at a mere 3.5 oz. I've also read that for newer bows you should only add a stabilizer if your rig really needs it as most of the latest bows are well balanced and are pretty solid. Vets, please correct me if I'm passing incorrect info regarding the stabilizer! Thanks, Eric
