Im in the market for my first bow and was really looking into the PSE Stinger 3g. Its supposed to be totally redesigned for 2012 and I have yet to read a negative review on it. Any of you guys shooting this bow? PSE doesn't have a great presence around my area so the local shop doesn't know much about it either. I haven't been able to get my hands on it yet, but a trip to Bass Pro should fix that.

I bought one at the begining of the year for my first bow. Have shot it probably close to 1500 time and i got to say i get excited everytime i shoot it. The draw is fairly smooth for a single cam. it is quiet and low vibration. The only thing i have had to do is retighten the screws on the cam(and with a little help from my wifes clear nail polish i have not had to tighten since.) I would highly reccomend this bow for anyone intrested in getting into bow hunting, and cannot wait to use it come September 17th on some white tails!!!

Great starter bow for the money for someone looking to get into the sport and get their feet wet. I would try and stay away from bass pro and the box stores. make sure you have a reputable shop set you up correctly. If you dont start out on the right foot you could ruin your archery experience and not like it in a heart beat.

Thanks for the reviews guys. What you all are saying is what all the other reviews I have been reading say. It would seem to suit me perfectly; seeing as i'm on a budget and it will be my first bow.

I've got a pro shop a mile from my house and when talking to the guy he said they would completely set it up for ME. I'm gonna go to Bass Pro and try out the bow (since the shop doesn't have it in stock), but if/when I do buy, I will buy from the pro shop since I will be getting them to set it up for me. (Bass Pro is about 65 miles away from me so it only makes sense for me to go to the pro shop)
