I don't see much written about the Stinger 3G yet so I will offer my thoughts from a newb point of view. I bought the RTH package that included a carry bag, four arrows, quiver, release aid, 3 pin sight, whisker biscuit and stabilizer. I got the 70# version and it is 30# adjustable about 3# per full turn of the limb bolt max 10 turns. So being my first Bow and the first time I fired a bow I wound it down 4 turns so it now about 58# weight. The draw came at 29" and from the ways I read to measure draw length I worked out mine to be 29" but after shooting it today it was wrong for me just a little too long I had to really fully stretch myself out to draw the bow. Anyway I decided to try it out like this as I had no allen keys with me. And I can say I really like this Bow very smooth draw no vibration when fired and quiet as well. And even with a slightly long draw I managed 12 arrows all grouped within 3 inches at 20 yards. I was stoked. Tomorrow I will reduce the draw length and go again this time I expect more accuracy and will sight it in for 20, 30 and 40 yards. I don't know a lot about archery yet but I happy with this bow so far and recommend it to anyone starting out. After this result for first time bow shooter I am wrapped and can't wait to practice some more before heading out to try and bag my first bow shot pig or goat.

Happy shooting, newbi myself and just picked up my first compound today. Was originally going for Stinger 3G as well, but ended up with a RTH-package with the Hoyt Rampage, Logix 5pin sight w\light and NAP apache drop away set at 50# and 26,5` drawlenght wich seemed to fit me perfect. Reckon this year will be training and training, but hope that I can go hunt with my bow next year. Has to travel abroad though, as bowhunting is illigal in Norway for the moment :(

Glad you like your new bow, and you seem like you know alot more then most people starting out. My first bow was a PSE and i havent bought any other brand since. I am sure you will do the same. Yes, i have shot other brands and none come close to the way a PSE feels in your hands. Once you get that thing cranked up to 70lbs you should be able to set your pin for 1 - 25yds. i have last years stinger and thats what mine is setup for with my arrow setup. Happy hunting and GL!!

Thanks guys, Yes I did a lot of reading and research before I started as well as asking questions on this forum. I like to learn as much as possible about anything I do the more there is to learn the more I like it. Yes I like the PSE but hey I was so close to buying the Bear Legion though. A more complete RTH package with the Stinger closed the deal for me. My 14 year old son is keen to start I am thinking of the PSE Rally for him. Good hunting men!
