I bought this bow last year. I have 4 kills/harvests with this bow. I bought it for $300. I showed it off at work to the other diehard bow hunting guys, they said I'll want to buy a new one. My question for you experts here, I feel it's been doing what I need it to do. I stay within 35 yards while hunting and have shot out to 55 yards on target. Sometimes I feel like i don't want to shoot the 55+ yards while hunting.
So am I not giving my bow enough credit for what it is? I feel pretty comfortable with it. I've watched some video reviews and inline reviews and they give it a "I'm impressed" type review. Any of you have one or had one that you could give some actual feedback? Thanks in advance.

The bow isnt accurate out to those distances, the shooter is. My hunting range that I put on myself is 40 yds. I practice to 60 plus but I get a few stray arrows. At 40 im happy with my groups. Its a good thing to set a limit.

I put my third pin a 40, I can get pretty good groups, nothing to write home about but kill shots. I use the longer distance to help see where I'm making a small mistake.

You don't sound like you need a new bow, because need and want are two different things. My advice, if you are shooting great with that bow stick to it! No need to change what works.

Same bow I bought my son. I have a mathews switchback xt both bows are nice! Mathews was a "Top of the LIne" bow in its day I think 2007. the pse rally a awsome bow for an awsome price. nicer than any compound bow made a decade or so ago. no reason for anything more expensive other than bragging rights JMHO :)

My apologies for not following up my post. I like this bow but I think I'm still going to buy my bosses Matthews after this season. Said he would sell me his entire setup, bow, arrows, sight, rest etc for around $300. Kind of hard to pass that up. I do like my Rally and I'm going to drop the weight to 50 for turkey hunting.
If anyone reads this that is thinking of the Rally, I would recommend it, I forgot the specific specs but it is able to let a young hunter grow into an old hunter.

x2 above, the shooter makes the shot, not the bow. Sure, while the Rally is at the cheaper end the spectrum by price, the quality of the bow is good. You don't have to spend big money to have a bow that shoots well. Good luck, make sure you shoot that Mathews prior to buying.... you might not like it and decide to stay with PSE.
