I have a PSE Primo STL and decided to try a Whisker Biscuit Rest and after hours of trying to get it tuned, I took it to a bow shop and they fiddled with it and came to the conclusion that I can't use a biscuit rest as I can't get the rest any further to the right because the rest contacts the throat?

I blown away and sort of pissed.

Anyone have or seen this or heard of this?!?!

    Thanks
    Brent

Can you move it any closer to you? To try and get it clear of the riser? Other than that, I don't really know...

Haven't had any experience with the whisker biscuit but I tried to put an Octane Hostage Pro rest on my wife's Hoyt Powerhawk and the TEC riser interfered and couldn't use it. I think manufacturers do the best they can to make their product fit all brands but some designs just don't fit every bow.

I can not move it any closer (farther to the right) because the whisker biscuit housing makes contact with the slide bar guide (the bar that comes off the bow and has the nylon sliding piece).

I'm wondering if my bow made in the last 10 years just wasn't made for a Whisker or a Hostage type rest and have two choices....

    1. Go back to a prong or drop away rest.
    2. "Trim" (ie. file) the housing to allow 1/4 inch more movement inward

I just hate "triming" a $75 Throphy Ridge Rest and have it non returnable or busted. :(

I hate not being able to head out hunting because my equipment is not ready/tuned.
