yeah its a bit high man,
lets assume u paid 399 for the bow, thats kinda the high end it seems right now
    160 for arrows
    120 for a fall-a-way (thats high)
    120 for the site
    100 for the case
    65 for the release
that still puts you at a shade under 1000 new...

i would say that 160 for arrows 100 for case and 65 for release is a little high too

I'd have to say that not every market is the same. I know that my easton axis arrows were $10 each, so 160 is spot on, not high. My Scott release was $70 so 65 could be a bit low depending on which scott release he got. He could have the trophy ridge adds that are $150 each and he may have paid a bit more than he should've for the bow. I'm sure the man isn't lying about what he paid. While he may be a bit high for what others might pay, he might not be too high. He knows what he can or can't afford to take. I'm not sure why it's a debateable thing... let him ask what he wants to ask.

he just asked if anyone else thought it was high
and i said it was a bit high.
also, generally speaking, yes, axis' are 10 bucks a piece, and you get a 10 dollar break on buying them in 6 packs.
    so
