I just bought the 2012 XS for my son a week ago and he really likes it. He is shooting the 60# model with a 28" draw length. He is shooting Carbon Express Maxima 250 Hunter arrows at 27". It is a very nice bow, fast and quiet. The only thing he has said that he would like to change is the whisker biscuit rest, he would prefer a drop away rest but other than that, he loves it. He is shooting tight groups at 20 and 30 yards. Let me know if you have any other questions.

its a good bow but it is a small bow, I would try shooting the Bowmadness with the 33" ATA IMO.

I agree with ok, it is a short bow, very compact.

Go find a local shop that has one and shoot it. Take your bow with you and shoot it side by side. If you really like it enough to pay the price tag, buy it. Don't limit yourself to just the PSE Bowmadness XS though. It the bow madness is in the price range you are wanting, look at others in that price range as well. You may find something you love and not just like. That's a $500.00 bare bow. you can find a lot of other bows for that price range that are nice, especially this time of year you can find many left over 2011 models that are nice.

I shot the 2010 bowmadness xs this year and loved it. Cabelas had them on sale in spring for 299$ so I couldn't pass it up. I added some nice accessories and killed 3 deer with it this year. It was quiet, fast, and smooth, but my wife bought me a z7 extreme for Christmas so the pse is currently up for sale.

I've got it and really like it. The compactness is great for shooting out of a blind and isn't a pain to carry in and out of the stand, or chasing elk over the moutains. I don't have any complaints about the bow. But to each his own

I bought my 15 yr. son the madness xs last year and he loves it. I like pretty well myself so I might be buying one for my self.
