I wonder if the OP is okay?

I tried calling him but he didn't answer, probably has his phone on silent.

Either that or he fired his gun at a pack of unruly raccoons and blew his ear drums out so he cant hear it ringing???

Damn...how many things can you imagine getting you son? I carry a knife, I figure I need it to clean game and shave anyway so it's handy. I've seen wolves, bear and cats here too though they are rare. I'm far more concerned about the old boogerman, we call them squatches here. Can you imagine getting butt raped by a 9' tall man-ape...I tell ya what if I'm ever in that position, one of us is getting it hard and I'd break long before I bent. That hairy bastard better bring his "A" game or he'll be learning how to squeal like a pig in under 60 seconds with that knife at his balls. Even if the unimaginable happens and I lose that fight...I have an uncle that will avenge me and I pitty the poor hairy sombeach that messes with my uncle Chuck.
On the other hand, maybe it'll be Lucy from the P&G film and it'll have a happy ending for both of us with some hairy little kids as a result. Talk to you guys later, I suddenly feel the need to go hunting.

I guess being an Alpha is out of the question. Find the nearest tree and urinating on it and then scratching the ground with your feet like you are kicking the crap out of earth worms.

    Pics to traumatize the OP.
    :D

There are lions and tigers and bears where I hunt. Okay, no tigers but lots of bears and lions. (And yotes, bobcats, rattlesnakes and tarantulas... but only sissies are afraid of those) ;)

These are taken right by my treestand. I still have no problem taking a midday nap at the base of the tree. I figure any predator that saw me comfortably snoozing away would immediately recognize that only a bad ass, top-of-the-food-chain person could sleep so confidently. Thus, said predators would sneak off, feeling lucky they didn't wake me and incur my wrath.

They might also recognize that I'm just really tired and start chewing on my head... but so far, so good.

I can't imagine these situations, Here in NY the most dangerous creatures are the snowflakes, and liberals. But most of them are scared off with job applications, or common sense.

Or you can say something to trigger them and they will run off to protest.

Good news guys! it appears the OP found a solution to his problem, quickflip earplugs!

(I thought I would resurrect this one from the dead, sure made me chuckle. Best quote of the thread "Easy there fairy cake")

Seriously!? Not one single mention of Lars Anderson? Lars could defend himself against wolves, coyotes and even Mongolian invaders..
