No one said you shouldn’t care about hearing, but unless your fighting off many many animals on a daily basis I doubt you’ll suffer.

Alternatively, you can try two tablespoons of MTFU before meals. Works really well for most of what I imagine you suffer with.

Other than a samurai sword, I see nothing that fits the bill, unless you put up with some weight and carry a suppressed .300 blackout

Samurai swords can be shiny. The glare from the sun could blind him.

If possible in your area get a full framed .45 semi auto with a large magazine, personal defense rounds and a suppressor. Does this check all of the boxes needed?

Personally, I have always found the best way to get advice from someone is to insult him and call him stupid. Let’s him know I really think highly of his feedback.

I would fear a cow with a calf more than any bull.

I live in bear/wolf country, plus I have baited and guided for Bear hunters for the last 28 years. I never had any problem coming across any altercation from any animal.
But you never know ...only thing I carry with me, is a really sharp ax.

Well....I didn’t think of that. I guess there is no other options besides sticking around the house and hunting this way[IMG]

Since you don't like the noise of guns, and sprays don't work, sounds like you have three choices. [1] Dig a hole really fast and crawl in. [2] Climb a tree even faster. [3] Stay home and watch TV.

Is it a black bear or a grizzly? The black bear will climb the tree after you while the grizzly will push it over if it is not too big. I’ll go with option 2. I am not a badger. It would take me all day to dig that hole.

“The buck was about 85 yards away when I heard him take a drink of water. It was at that very moment in time, I was attacked by a gaggle of wolves”

Regardless of the attack I was grateful of never having fired a gun and risking the integrity of my sensitive almost snowflake like hearing organs. However, had I not of been such a princess I could of at least fired off a couple of shots towards them. Instead, as I lay here being eaten I can hear every sound so clearly as they tear away into me.
