Would be a cool job if the pre-season wasn't in June and his job caused him to miss the Bowhunting.com Get Together every year! Sorry Isaiah had to throw that in! Give me a ring next week when you get a chance!

    I'm a cop.

I majored in criminal justice, but tutored English for two years. I expect it on the forum, but cringe often while reading the articles on the home page. Someday, Greg is going to volunteer his time and become the official Chief Editor of Bowhunting.com. This is my dream!!

I am a 400 acre soybean, wheat, and Milo farmer in Eastern Arkansas. Been doing that since 1991 when I got out of high school. Did it through college. While farming I also have had a trucking company, a crop dusting service and a lawn service. I absolutely hated all of them except the farming. As of Nov 1, roughly of this year I will no longer be a farmer. I hate it so much makes me sick to think about it. I have no idea what I am going to do next and it scares me, but not as much as trying to keep farming.

I do know being a man ***** is probably not in my future though. But who knows? :)

If you plan on doing some type of federal law enforcement, I would highly suggest you minor is counter-terrorism studies. If you plan on staying in a local aspect I recommend that you do some type of social behaviors. It will help out when you try making dectective or higher. If I could start over I would have minored in wildlife studies or something to that aspect. Ive always wanted to be a Wildlife Officer. Just make sure you stick with the Bachelors and dont settle for an Associates. A lot of people are finding out they have to return to school to finish their degree or be a traffic cop the rest of their career.

i LOVE it, even if it does cause me to miss a lot of the things i like to do. sucks when you have to count the days you can hunt in May (when the schedule comes out) but i got it better than my buddies in the military who cant hunt at all! im thankful for them and for the chance to hunt each yr!

16 years of teaching under my belt. Degree in Kinesiology and minor in Biology. Spent a lot of years as a H.S. head football coach and or assistant. Gave up coaching football, even though I loved it, to pursue my even greater love for bowhunting in Sept, Oct and November for elk and whitetails. Football schedules and those hunting months just didn't jive too well. I still coach basketball and track in the winter and spring. Jr. High only. They are short seasons outside of hunting season and I still really enjoy competition and working with the kids. Owned and operated my own logging and property enhancement business for several years during the summers when the timber market was booming. I did really well with that until the economy fell through, so I just parked my cat, all my equipment was paid for... and went on vacation during the summers. I spend my summers, working on my place, fishing with my boys and scouting. We live just up off of lake Coeur d Alene one mile so we spend a ton of time on the lake in the summers. My wife loves the lake, water and water skiing. My wife teaches and coaches too. We have the exact same schedule.

I am an ICU (intensive care unit) RN, with my Bachelors. I've been doing this for about 5 years now. I work the "weekend option" shift, so I work every friday, sat, sun night for 12 hours, then I get 4 days off in a row. I plan to either go back to get my CRNA, or Possibly my NP (CRNAs make so much money, but I'm afraid I will be bored with the job).

Well, I'm a Utility Lineman. Since so many of you think you need electricity. I work for a contractor and travel the upper midwest. Been known to go to Texas and Oklahoma to. I love chasing ice storms around. Any of you around from Iowa in Jan '10, or Kansas in Dec '07. I was there.

I do everything from concrete to roofing. Mostly framing and finish work but the company I work for takes on large jobs and subs out nothing. 1 job I did a couple years ago some of you may have heard of. Then night Obama was elected a couple of retards decided to burn down a black church I was building up here in MA. Me, my friend and his father built the entire 18,000 sq ft building by ourselves. We had all the framing done, windows up, doors in, roof done, siding done, MILES of SIDEWALK done But we didnt have the drywall up yet. We were waiting for the framing inspection. SO these kids break in and set the whole place on fire. With no drywall the place went up in flames FAST. They are now in jail or atleast 1 or 2 of them for 9 years. For commiting a hate crime. Really big mistake. Anyways we finished the rebuilding not that long ago and the congregation had their first sunday service last week. Those guys don't have any work right now so I am working with another friend of mine. We aren't doing anything HUGE but we are keeping busy and I thank God for that!
