Just wondering, what does everyone here do for a living? What pays the bills? How did you get started with it? I work in the Mid-Atlantic area as a regional manager for an Italian wine import company. I started right out of college working for a local distributor for 4 years and have been on the supplier side now for 5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Systems administrator. I built computers and installed networks for a while and then I was hired by a company. Been doing it for 10 years now.
I own my own 6 pack fishing and spearfishing charter business. I started helping out on the big sportboats in Oceanside, CA when I stationed at Camp Pendleton around 94'. I got out of the Marines in 98' and started working on the boats full time. Got my captain's license in Sep. of 02' and got my own boat in Sep. of 08. I wouldn't necessarily say it pays the bills, but it is something I love to do and that is more than a lot of people can say about their job.
I am a customer service rep for Musco Sports Lighting. Its a 24/7 department which sucks but it means that I get my 40 hours in about 3 days! Gives me good hunting time and I get to sleep on the job!!! I graduate from college next July and hope that I can get on in the sales or marketing departments.
I'm a school custodian. Sucks right now I am on the 3pm till 11 shift. Sent from my T8788 using Board Express

I'm a Soldier. I left my job as a Deputy Sheriff when I felt my heart telling me that it was time to answer the call. I love what I do. I still dont know if ill make it a career or whether Ill get back into civilian law enforcement.
Masonry contractor for the past 23 years. Helped my Dad during the summers when I was a kid. Carrying brick and block, making mud, getting paid to get a tan.......LOL. Knew then it was what I wanted to do.
Went to school to become a marine engineer...sailed as an engineering officer on a navy fast combat support ship and currently work as an operations engineer at a cogen power plant.
Most days I do a decent impersonation of an engineer for a company that designs large air pollution control systems.
Professional bum....before that Sailor for 3 years, Soldier for 7 years and Airman for 23 years. How did I get into this? End of Vietnam war, too many so called Americans were trashing the country, so I decided to buck the norm and raise my hand. Best thing I ever did.
