Looks good. You can tell you guys are serious about getting good footage although self-filmed hunts are typically sub-par. Keep up the good work.

Nice work! I love videos like this.

Here's a few critiques I have for you:

I found the echoed voice to be distracting. I don't think it was needed as much or at all.

Consistent color correction has to be one of the hardest parts of editing. Making it look like every shot was from the same camera with a similar feel is hard, but it brings a huge level of continuity and professionalism to any videos. I found that some of your shots seemed over processed. Too high of saturation and the contrast was high enough that you lost a lot of detail in the shadows. The turkey shot stands out as one. You couldn't see much detail in the feathers of its chest because it was lost as the darks were brought up.

I also remember seeing one of the slider shots that should have been clipped a little more. On those shots you want to avoid catching the camera coming to a stop, unless it's intended. In which case, you need to let the still shot run a bit longer otherwise it looks accidental.

Personally, I felt that it could have been clipped down slightly to decrease the pauses between voice overs. The Narration was nice overall, it just felt a bit disjointed with the longer rolls between.

All of this is nitpicky stuff. It's a great short film and way better than the balance of crud you find on youtube. Keep up the good work and keep sharing it :tu:
