I'm planning a few all day sits this weekend and was thinking about how to keep my arse comfortable and thought about how they put padding in bike shorts and wondered if that could be a good product for whitetail hunters:)

Nice cotton underwear with a built in arse padding for long sits in the stand. Bike shorts themselves are to tight but maybe if you cut the elastic off the legs. Smart or Dumb?:)

I think they'll make your butt look big. Lol.

I redid my seat last year taking the old rubberized pad and adding a self rigid piece of closed cell foam underneath. Much better this year. Effectively a similar approach.

not a bad idea, but I'd just try getting a nice thick seat cushion first. Also, bring some aspririn and a book along, to help the day go by.

Most of my stands are nice and comfy but I put this simple hang-on in a new area thats been seeing some nice bucks lately so this is where I'll be sitting. I will bring an extra pad and book but never thought of aspirin though, thanks.

Many companies have built in knee pads-put so this might be the same idea.

Looks comfortable for sure! I wish it was taller. I seem to get busted a lot hunting that height. I am going to order a 21' millennium ladder stand when I get a refund Im waiting on. See how that is. I think it was like $240. But when you figure a new millennium and a decent 20' set of sticks will cost that much anyway, or a little more. Figured it would be worth trying and allow me to get into less then perfect trees, since Im a sissy and cant use climbing sticks or a hang on if the tree isn't perfect straight.

For me its a sling seat or at least a seat with arms that gives you a more secure feeling. If my arse starts hurting it's a sign it's time to stand and let the blood circulate.
