Has anyone else had problems with tinks mock scrape drippers not holding the liquid? I have had two that just completely release all scent at one time. Like the hole is oversized on the dropper.

Has anyone tried to contact tinks about this issue. I would think with them being a sponsor of the show and this site they would make right by their customers.

I learned a couple of tricks to make it work out all right. One of em is fill it to the max fill line and squeeze a good amount of the air out the top, turn it over where the nozzle is pointed down and release finger pressure. This seems to hold the scent in place until the air pressure builds up during the daytime.

I'm just saying that from a reputable supplier there should be some level of responsibility, at around $13 a pack it's not a huge amount but we are not all sponsored hunters and when we spend money on gear we expect it to at least function. If it works on deer that is a whole other issue.

IMO I don't think there's a problem with the dripper. It's really a very simple thing and unless there's a hole in the bottle itself it's almost impossible to have all of the liquid drip out at one time.

Here's what I do when I use mine.

    1. Fill the bottle 90% of the way up. I know there's a "fill" line on it but I've always ignored that.
    2. Screw the cap back on the bottle
    3. Hold my finger over the hole in the cap and turn the bottle back over
    4. Make sure all of the air inside the dripper has gone back to the top of the bottle, with the liquid under it
    5. Take my finger off and head out

These drippers work on pressure. The air bubble that's trapped inside the dripper expands as the temperature rises which is what forces the product out of the bottom. The bigger the air bubble the quicker it will drip. This is why I start with a small bubble - so it lasts longer. Also keep in mind if the dripper is in direct sunlight it's going to heat up more which is going to expand the air and force the liquid out sooner. In these situations I've seen the product last 1-3 days. In others I can get 7-10 days. All depends on location, temps, time of year, etc.

I'm glad to hear they are sending you some new ones though. I hope you have better luck with them.
