So I shot in a 3D tournament today and was missing to the right on more shots then I would've liked. :bash: I shot 2 weeks ago and did not have this problem. My sight is dead on so I am wondering if this was just a case of me torquing the bow or what?

I assume this because I shot 21 targets and 7 went right of where I was aiming. I figured if the sights were off then I would've hit right even more.

I'm defining a miss here as about 7 inches to the right. Usually at these shoots I miss high or low because of misjudging distance. I hadn't had a problem with missing left or right before so I wasnt sure. I was thinking it was something to do with form though. Thanks for the input I'll put some more practice in before the next shoot.

Yeah still being pretty new to this though I just needed to bounce it off somebody with more experience.

How was the terrain on the shots you missed right? Were they side hill at all? Level issue?

You would be very surprised how that affects shooting on side hills?

    Just throwing out possibilities.

There were lots of hills and I can recall that some of the misses were like that. I can't remember if they were all like that though. I'll have to remember that the next time I shoot there.

Forget about the problem, for now. Is there any way you can make it to the PA GTG next month???

(just kidding GA, and trust me the joke is at my own expense. Rob's laughing, I'm sure :d . . . and btw, he is also the man to listen to -trust me on this! I hope you get it figured out, buddy  )

Rob hit the nail on the head... more than likely, your misses came on side-hill shots. When's the last time you checked your axis settings?

Another thing I catch myself doing when my form is not absolutely solid is dropping/pushing the bow arm after the shot to see where the arrow ended up. I shot my first 3-D yesterday with the compound and caught myself twice doing this that resulted in 8's.
