    Hi Everyone,
Really hoping that someone can help me out. The Ripcord code red arrow rest is pretty popular, so i was thinking someone has had the same problem as me.
I was taking shots yesterday and all of a sudden my rest didint work properly, its just flimsy now and i can have the rest in any position.. The string that goes to the cable is still in tackt and all the pieces seem to be tight.
When i pull back on the bow the rest just doesnt come up, only about quarter of the way. I have no idea what cause it. I took it apart and the round spring is where its supposed to be. Any ideas what the problem could be?? Please help me out guys, would appreciate it a ton.

Here is a pic of what the rest is like now. 1/4 of the way in the upward position..

Did you use the plastic football to attach the cord to your cable? Possible it could have slide. When you draw your bow is the cord being pulled down and tight at full draw?

strait from rip cords website- "If the original owner has a part break for any reason, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge."

Ya the cord is tight when i draw the bow back, the rest then just stays in the up right position, and it doesnt click and stay in position like it should. It has something to do with the spring, i just cant figure out what.

Your best bet is to contact their CS. If you play with it, they may not warranty it. I have had no problems with mine so far. And for the price, I hope I don't.

There is a youtube video on how to replace cord and spring. But Ripcord CS is great. Give them a call and they will make you happy.
