My kids bought me a new Trophy Ridge Alpha V3 bowsight for father's day. Is there anything more to it than just bolting it onto the bow and then sighting it in? Is there anything special about levels, or angles I need to worry about?

    Thanks!

no, pretty much bolt it on, sight in your pins, and adjust windage ad elevation and you should be good.

Some Trophy Ridge sights have off-set mounting holes and reversible mounting brackets. If you can't get your vertical dialed in you may need to use a higher or lower set of mounting holes or flip the bracket in extreme cases.
I just installed a Trophy Ridge React sight and I had to try a few different mounting points to get the peep lined up level with the sight before adjusting the pins.

    T. R. makes great sights. Your going to love it. It may cost you a few dollars though. I have shot the fletching off of 3 arrows and split the nocks on two others since installing the my new sight a week ago.
    Good Luck.

Remember when your sighting it in to go to your arrow, other than that it should be pretty much bolt on and shoot. Id start off at 10 yards max to make sure oyur hitting the bag..If your consistently hitting the bag step back and start sighting it in.

    Trophy ridge makes great products.
Take a measurement from a nocked arrow to your top pin. Then replace the sight and recreate the measurement. Still start close to the target, but it will get you in the ballpark much quicker and safer.
