there are many different levels and meanings of the words pro staff. most of the time it is meant as pro(promotional) staff. these people get a discount on products and some freebies such as hats stickers patches shirts ect... and they use a certain product. then there is the professional staff members who are paid by the company to use their equipment. to become a promotional shooter its as simple as sending an email with an archery resume to a company that you stand behind and believe in. Most of the time this time of year in the fall is when companies are looking to add promo staff members. professional staff members are usually earned spots where the person has either shown years of dedication and gone above and beyond for a company or have done somethign to get major attention like have a TV show or win a world title etc etc. Hope that helps.

militaryhunter i have also looked into this for awhile now and there is also the field staff option too and that is what i am personally leaning towards. I have read up on the pro staff portion from several companies and they are looking for people to got to ata shows and do 3d shoots and such which for me personally is going to be hard seeing as how i always have a possibility of me deploying during the season such as right now. But my understanding is that the field staff are more of the product testing side of the companies. If you can find a new companies out there they are try to get people to spread their name so chances are prob better with them. Let us know how things work out for you. :tu:

I actually can't say exactly where we were deployed to because of the classification of the location/mission that we were doing but currently im stuck in Spain waiting on a ride home. That is exactly what I was looking into this stuff for was when i get back stateside and hopefully don't miss this season. Best of luck to ya and make it home safe. :tu:

your right redneck. most field staff and promotional kind of go hand in hand. most companies have a few different "levels" of promo or field staff that they run depending on what the "staffer" has to offer them. I run three different levels of staff and I think it works very well for everyone involved. a lot of times field staff could also be called a hunting staff and then promo staff for competition archers who do not focus on hunting. they may hunt but that is not the focus of there game where some are purely hunters with a few 3D's thrown in.
