You know I think there is something we should take away from the top generals. They all agree with no man left behind. However some may not agree with what was swapped, but all say we had to get this guy before we pulled out.
I agree we had to probably bring him back but don't try to pass it off like he got seperated during a patrol like some reports. Especially now that so many have stepped up and said he just took off on his own. I'm more apt to believe what the guys on the ground said over most of the media or the WH.
Fox is reporting leaked intel docs stating he had converted to Islam and was describing himself as a "soldier of" Al. Lah. my prediction - as more leaks indicate he was no longer a "captive" and likely was a turncoat (stockholm syndrome or not) the admin will flip the script and say: "of course we knew he was a traitor. We knew it all along. That's why we made the trade - we had squeezed the guys in Gitmo for all they had, and now we wanted to get this traitor back here so we could squeeze and then prosecute him. See how smart and tough we are? Why did we say he served with honor and distinction? Well, to throw all you sneaky reporters off the scent. You guys are good, you finally figured it out. We just didn't want it out there that we had a traitor until all the facts were in, but you beat us to the punch. Great job."
I'd have a real hard time as a parent knowing my son died trying to free a deserter/fraud/etc......and then he was traded for 5 high value political prisoners who are going to return the Gitmo experience with American blood.
Is the government dumb or playing dumb? I would like to think they gps chipped these guys before letting them go...
Muslims take care of their own, applies to every aspect of this case and is everything one needs to know about this case.
Well with that logic these guys look like Muslims Bill and Fox have just lost all sense of reality, they may be worse than MSNBC in the other direction.
I thought of the exact same group of men when they said that hahahaha. To be honest I never catch on to some of that stuff they say when I do watch it... Stewart does such an excellent job at calling things like this out.
