    Here's the link guys.

This is the story from my perspective( the link may take a second or two to download-hang in there). I pray Rob and Rex add to the details. What a hunt!

    Sorry guys,

It seems I've exceeded my bandwidth for the day (whatever that means). I need advice here. Does anyone have an idea where I can land a PDF file, to share, without this problem? Thanks in advance

Awesome, Congrats to you on your bear, and more importantly on your adventure. Excellent story.

I've only had the pleasure of meeting Rob via a teammate in last years Buck Contest.

I've said it before there are not many people I'm envious of, but I would but Rob near the head of a non-existant list.
And Will and Rex, for this adventure you are there with him. Congrats sounds like an ahhh inspiring time, indeed!

Wow...what a great job of documenting your hunt. Do you publish your stories in magazines?

Once we boned the meat there was 75# left (we ate a bit in camp). 25# went to guys at the flight service in Ketchikan. I brought the remaining 50# box back here to Kodiak. The airlines wanted $100 per 50# box to send it out of AK with Will so we opted out of that. (If you stay within AK it's still 3 50# checked bags for free.) The backstrap got cut into steaks and the rest is going to sausage. I may smoke a ham as well.

Thanks for a great hunt and a great write-up Will! Sadly, photos and stories can never do an experience like this justice. It's an experience I hope to carry with me the rest of my days.

    I agree Rob.

You know, one detail I left out involves the great service we received from Southeastern Avaiton. Jim Cosmos, and his crew, did a fabulous job accomodating us and every ounce of our gear (300 pounds). I applaud the fine service. On a one to ten scale, I give Southeastern Avaition a fifteen! And that's coming from a guy who has used several air taxi services. A hardy slap on the back to Jim!

I couldn't agree more about SE Aviation. Jim and his guys (Ernie and Mark) are top notch folks that I can honestly say are a real pleasure to do business with year in and year out.
