I'm going to purchase a ground blind in the next couple of days.....Gotta have it by Thursday, but anyway.......Does anyone have any experience with the Primos Vision? How does the window system work? Are there windows to cover up the mesh, and if so do they go all the way around the blind or just sections?

If I don't like those windows, it'll be the Darkhorse, but for the price differnce I figured it's worth a look see.

Don, I bought one last fall under the ground max name, but it is still the same model. Mine has magnetic windows as well as the mesh so you can have them as open as you want or closed.

Here are a few pics of mine.

I hope this helps...Mine also came with padded backpack straps as well.

That's awesome, thanks man!! What are the possibilities of getting a picture of the inside of the blind?

If I get time tomorrow I will pop it up and take some of it. As long as it's not raining too hard.

The windows do go all the way around. The windows are two part, first is the fabric with magnets that folds down and second is the mesh that slides. The mesh is pretty loose, I tried but couldn't shoot thru it accurately, if that's a concern. I like the windows on the DB better for sure.

The inside is very roomy, two people can be in it no problem.

It comes with tiedowns and is pretty sturdy, I left it out for 2 nights during a big storm and it was no worse for wear.

The fabric is shiny if you're not set up in shadows. I set it up next to my buddies matrix and the shine difference was noticeable. THe vision needs to be brushed in VERY good.

It comes with a very roomy carry bag with CARRYING STRAPS and pockets to hold foldup stools, etc.

All in all it is a great blind but it is not quite the same quality as the DB, but of course it's 1/2 the price also.

Sonner, you hit it right on the head. I went to a store the other day and looked at them, and wasn't happy with it at all, ESPECIALLY the mesh windows. They sagged HORRIBLY at the top, leaving an open space of about 3".......And I agree, the mesh is incredibly loose and in fact I mentioned it to the salesman and said there is no way an arrow would be accurate being shot through that. Suddenly he had other things to do. There is no way to tighten it either. It's non adjustable, and would only get worse with time.

So, even though it was twice as expensive, I went w/ the Matrix. I looked at the Darkhorse, but wasn't impressed w/ it either. Especially the corner that the window zips shut, instead of the slide buckle. If you needed to shoot through that corner of the blind.....yer bummin. No way yer gonna get that window open w/out spooking them. Yeah, there's a little window to shoot out of, but I didn't like it. Fortunately, they still had a few of the Matrix. I can shoot out of any side there is....I'm not sure why Primos changed the window configuration, but it's not as good, IMO.
