Hey guys, My brother has two Primos Truth Cam 35s. One of these is a great working camera and has taken thousands of pictures. The other one was working fine to start with but then it started eating batteries and not taking pictures. Has anyone else seen this from the 35's? Anyone know how to fix it?

Brother I feel your pain. Trail cameras are finicky. I think that we have all experienced some frustration from them at one point or another. They are mostly made in china out of cheap electronics. I know this because I have fooled around with cameras my entire life and some of the cheap video recorders coming out of china, have roughly the same menu screens as trail cameras that I have seen. I also believe that some different brands of cameras are made in the same place. To answer your question, your best bet would be to send it back to Primos because if you start fiddling with the insides, it will void your warranty if you still have one. Furthermore, Primos is going to be able to fix it and get you going. WHo knows, they may even replace your camera for a new one.

Yeah get in touch with then especially if you still have your receipt. I had an issue with a WGI cam and just had to show them the receipt and the sent me a label to return mine and even sent me a better model for the trouble. So it's worth a phone call or email.

They are probably 5 years old give or take and we definitely don't have a receipt.. I took a multimeter and got 4 batteries all putting out 1.6V and now it seems to work good..

Rant: I am NOT happy with the Duracell batteries I got. Many are putting out 1.15v out of the package! I am going to take a look at rechargeable batteries because that is ridiculous...
