This is kind of funny a small buck last week is checking out the game cam when it turns on the buck scrambles for cover. cam was set on 25 ir light

this video a nice buck see the ir light and turns to sneek out. The cam was put 11 foot up in the tree and set up pointed at my ladder stand which is right behind this buck, I put the cam there because of the stands location thinking it might walk off
ir was set at 46 and the deer was 20 feet from the cam

I really like this cam it has great 15 sec video clip mode i really like last week it took 50 videos in the cold snow and still had 70 percent battery life.

    Nice buck!!

Not nocking down your camera or any camera that has the red IR lights but this Is the exact reason why I won't buy another IR cam that has red lights. Deer spook from these as well as you can see and stated. This was my exact reason for buying a Reconyx, no IR lights of any kind.

I have yet to have a deer catch the ir of my x6c cam but this 46 cam may get the ir lights covered with black tape.

I can buy four of the x6c for one of the reconyx sorry i am cheap but they work very well for little money.

your right cougar i would like to shut the ir lighting off completely or keep lowering the leds by covering them up with black tape until deer stop reacting to it's lighting or using the cam where i dont care if i tip off the deer.

using the cam in video mode really show how deer react to the ir flash.

I have the 35 and I have notice deer looking at the camera I think because of the clunk they don't run. I don't do the video because the flash stays lit for longer. and I like pictures better. Deer tend to notice it more on video model more from what I have seen from my cuddeback.

I haven't had mine out for several weeks due to being busy working and the weather. I have never tried the video mode. I am debating whether to sell it or not. Really like it but am very interested in trying the new Bushnell black flash when its available. Have even entertained the thought of ordering a Reconyx 500.........but damn thats a lot of money for one cam.

Nice vids Ultramax. I can say I know how it is with these cameras, I had a nice 8 point I had been getting pics of. Then I decided to video him and 27ths of a second of video and he was running out of the picture and I haven't seen him in that area since and that was in Sept. 2010.
