I have a Primos 35 cam that I bought the first year they were selling them that began burning thru batteries after about 9 months of owning it. I contacted the company. I sent it to them and they replaced the cam no questions asked. The one they sent me I am still running to this day. I actually like it better than my Moultries, Cuddeback and Bushnells that cost a heck of lot more $$$!! Good luck!

The truth is you have entered the matrix, we have you. You should buy three more so you always have one in the us mail system at all times.

what did you replace with? I've had good luck with the Bushnells and may return this to cabellas and just pay the difference.

I've read some good things. How's the battery life on them? This primo piece of junk the only way I can more than a week is if I take 1 picture a week (slight exaggeration but not much). Where do y'all buy your coverts from?

I bought my Coverts at Dunham's here in town. You can get them on Ebay, lots of places. Battery life...about 9 months on my MP6.

Oops, I forgot the Covert Red 40. I have not put that cam out this year. That cam IMO seems to get the least response from deer of the cams I own. Sounds like I should expect the replacement Primos cam to fail! Good grief.

Which model are you using? Returned the Primos and I'm going to pick one up on ebay.

I got a few MP6, The new ones are MP8's I think. I love mine. I'm gonna get the MP6 or 8 Black next. Sam can tell you more about the model's than I can.

    Coverts you say?

For picture taking purposes...mp8 or Red 40. For video, Black 60.

If your into black flash, get the mp8black. If you prefer white flash, get the Illuminator.

If you are doing time-lapse or plot watching, then the outlook is for you.

And if your cheap...get the Mpe5. You won't be disappointed.
