Anyone here in the group have shot this bow? Thoughts? At first I was totally against this bow, but its starting to grow on me but concerned about all the connecting points. Closest Prime dealer is 3 hours away, would love to just test one.

I shot it a few times at the ATA show, and it was pretty nice. Like most flagship bows, there was little to no noise or hand shock. I didn't shoot it with a sight or at a distance, just a few into a bail at close range.

I also asked one of the engineers in the Prime booth about the connection points and how that all works because I had the same thought as you. He said they had equipment specially designed and built to assemble these risers, and they've been excessively and aggressively tested to ensure there is no chance for them to come loose or out of alignment. I didn't get into any further detail than that.

I have watched a few reviews on it, seems like everyone seems to say its a nice bow its just definitely different and new. I might have to make a drive to the bow shop 3hrs away just to try it.

I shot one and it feels like the RVX34 I had before but just lighter. Something different, I’ve had a handful of primes over the years and always enjoyed them.

I got the RX8 when it first came out and don't plan on getting rid of it but I have never shot a Prime before and always wanted to try one. Just wish there was a bow shop closer than 3 hours away that had them. My two local shops carries everything but Prime lol

3hrs is a poke! I’m fortunate in the shops around here with what they carry. All the bows now are so close on all aspects, it’s just subjective.

Only thing is my draw length is 26 and 26 1/2 in depending on bow. Don't know how the string angle would be on a 34 inch axle bow.

I wouldn’t drive 3hrs to find out, go shoot a 34” ata. That’s definitely on the shorter side, personal preference tho. I know guys with 30” draw that shoot 30” ata bows and like it and vise versa.

You stumped me. What is vise versa to that? 30” ata bows with 30” draw?

Ha made sense in my head sorry, guys with short draws that like longer ATA bows.
