I'm wanting a new bow for next year. I was looking at the prime rival and prime centergy. Give me the good, bad and the ugly of them.

i have both right now. the rtk cam on the centergy are aggressive compare to the pcxl cams on the rival. the centergy hybrid (pic) has a thinner grip and balance every well. the rival is by far my favorite cause of the smooth draw and how quiet it is on the shoot. centergy does have a distinct sound to in at the shoot because of the 82 x riser. you can't go wrong with either one.

Really... That will be cool to see. I don't know yet if I will buy new or 1 or 2 years old. Don't know if I can afford over a grand for one anymore. But I do really like the new primes. I'm looking for smooth draw,a hard wall, and a dead feel in my hand when I shoot. Which one will be more likely to give me that?

Ok. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate. I shoot a hoyt trykon xl right now. So I'm sure there will be a huge diff between the two bows.

I shoot a Rival 29.5 60lbs and absolutely love it. There isn’t anything bad I can say about it. It seems a bit quieter and I like the longer ATA. I hunt with it and use it for 3D. I shot a new centergy and if they were the same price I would’ve still got the Rival. That being said I don’t think you can go wrong with which ever one feels the best to you.

I went on there after you told me. Let me make sure I understand something. If I'm a 29 to a 29 1/2. Do I need to order a 28inch bow. They was saying the draw ran long on the rival and rice. Is that true?

yes it true only because of the adjustment of let off. the biggest thing for you to do right now is to find out you're true draw length. i found out i'm 29.75" so i had to swap my cams on the centergy hybrid.

their is two ways to do this. #1 wing span (29.5) #2 first against the wall (30")
because of those 2 difference measurements i want with a 29.5" cam and if the bow set at 85% let off the draw length was 30" i adjusted the let off peg until the length felt prefect for me
