It was crazy Steve...nobody could comprehend what happened for about 3 seconds after the throw...everyone was expecting another quick checkdown..THEN a throw into the endzone.

That was fantastic. The old fart had to really hustle to get there and when he did get there.... he made it for a reason. He laid the lumber to the guy with total disregard for his old body. The guy just loves to play football.

Any team in the NFL will look past the prima donna aspect if you are producing results. Brett Favre has essentially two roles for this team. One is the obvious, to be a consistant quarterback on the field. The second is already an overwhelming success - that is to bring a renewed interest in vikings football. Before Favre, the vikes organization were on a downward slope as far as fans go. There were times when some company had to come in and buy up the remaining game tickets to avoid a blackout.

I do however think that Greg Lewis is getting far less credit than he deserves. That was a fantastic catch.

Anybody seen the new Brett Favre commericals? They are hilarious! He is making fun of his own flip flopping on retirement.

Saw that the other night. I also like his Remington commercials on Outdoor channel. It's good to see that there aren't celebrities who are afraid to put their name to guns and hunting items.
