    Yes I agree bring it down to 2 or 3 weeks like 4-5 days of muzzleloader. Then a week of gun at thanksgiving and 5 days at Christmas.

    I like how long our season is...just wished gun was two weeks. Then go back to Archery.

    Arkansas is cheap:

    Annual Resident Hunting License: $25 includes 6 deer tags, 2 bucks state wide limit and two spring only turkey tags. State and federal duck stamps make it $65 if you hunt waterfowl.
    Annual Resident Fishing License: $10.50, trout stamp is an additional $5.

    Elk tags are a nonrefundable $5 application fee, but free if drawn. No charge on bear tags but the season closes when the quota is hit.
