If a person buys a bow from say a online dealer than takes it to a pro shop to have it set up what should I expect to pay

    How can they do that?

Peep height will change point of impact drastically and that can't be set unless you have a specific number to set it to.

Group size has nothing to do with pin setting. The group may be 5" high or low but group size is the same.

Cost will depend on shop. $20-$50 could be expected. $20 being the norm.

Thanks for the answer. I live in a small town where there is only 1 shop and he charges $100 if you didn't buy it from him. So I may have to take a drive somewhere else

100.00 is a lot unless he does something really special. My experience is if it is tough to tune... check your spine.

No way can they get it setup for someone like that like tfox said. As for price that does seem high. Usually shops like that will give you a significant discount if you purchase something and become a customer. So instead of $100 for setup purchase some arrows or a rest or sight and he might only charge $20 or so for setup after that.

100 bucks!?!?? Dang, shops out here usual only charge for the price of a string loop and peep plus like five bucks labor. Last time I had a bow set up I think it cost me 12 bucks.
