A little while back in individual made a posting in regards to shooting to the left or right more the further they shot from. I just got done shooting this morning at 50 yards and thought of this post. I'm not going to say there aren't other factors, but I think this is some good advice for newer shooters. I had some issues this morning at first, but I knew nothing was to blame except myself! Finally after sitting down and closing my eyes to do some thinking I realized what I was doing wrong. I realized I was concentrating tooooooooo much rather then relaxing and repeating my form over and over! What I am trying to say is don't always blame it on your equipment or tuning. Most likely it is a flaw in your form. The further you go back the more mistakes are magnified in your form! This is also true if you are shooting a faster set-up. I have been shooting for years and my final group of three was within 4", but at first this wasn't the case because of errors in my form...Not the bow or tuning. Another thing I failed to do this morning was start my pratice out with 5 yard blind bale shooting like I always do. Keep your routine the same in regards to your form!!!!! Bow arm pressure, back tension, anchor and bow grip!(Don't grip) And last but not least that release should feel like an explosion that surprises you. I really hope this helps someone!
