I got as far as "UN Report".

The global warming was so bad, here, this past winter.....I had to buy an ATV plow.

Obviously, that statement shows your ignorance right there.

Yeah, those statements are on the same level as me saying "it's 92 degrees in May right now, which is obvious evidence of global warming."

Ignorance to what? It's not a dirty word. I can admit when I'm ignorant about something.

But I agree wholeheartedly with Hooker. You're gonna sit here and compare the last 100yrs.....and call that "historical data"? It's a freakin' batt of an eyelash in the "history" of our planet.

Attempting to establish a baseline, based on 100 or so years of data is IGNORANT.

There has always been global climate change. Iowa has been covered in glaciers, ocean, tropical forrest, and dry grassland. To think that we can alter the course of climate change is very short sighted in my opinion.

And here I was still believing acid rain was going to collapse the ecosystems and kill all the trees.

I can't keep up with the hoaxes.

I remember when I was a young lad in my early 10's and global warming was a issue that was rapidly on the rise....well I'm in my 30's and it's still on the rise. Heck when my dad was a teenager global warming was on the rise. Nature will take care of this. Besides I don't think we can control the polar ice caps from melting, don't worry about things you have no control over.

No I wasn't. But let me ask you. When was the last time this planet had roughly 6.7 billion people on this planet? When was the last time we had this high of dioxin from the billions of water bottles and other trash floating in our rivers, streams and oceans? How about when was the last time we extracted billions of gallons/lbs of natural resources from our Earth to power our homes, cars, planes and make those trash bags, diapers and every plastic bag from every store on this planet? If you honestly believe that we are doing nothing to our planet, then I feel sorry for your children/grandchildren. It is absolutely amazing to me how we as hunters who enjoy the outdoors can honestly believe that this is a "natural" cycle.

    exactly this....

and lets also point out that even NASA has admitted that only the past 50 yrs is actually reliable given the poor calibration of older temp sensing devices...

it is also extremely arrogant to think that only 100ish years of industrialization is causing it as well... earth has been around for billions or years, it has been struck by asteroids, it survived, it has had multiple ice ages, it survived... are we so arrogant as to think that MAN did this?? our climate has never ever been constant, EVER, OF COURSE IT IS CHANGING, IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN!!!

the question we SHOULD be asking is "should we try to change something and disrupt natures own ability to heal itself?? what are the unintended consequences of that?? nobody seems to ask or answer either of those...

I hope you don't drive a truck or use any plastics. Because if you do, you aren't helping your children/grandchildren any.

Yes, pollution is bad. Bad for regional areas. I don't think anybody is saying that we as humans couldn't live cleaner lifestyles.

Now as far as global climate change, we as humans, do not impact the Earth as much as we would like to think.

I tend to agree with Hooker. There are plenty of things we can do to reduce pollution. (and should). But to think that we can reverse a climate trend is political bs. If you believe we are the main source of "global warming", you are giving us WAY too much credit. Global warming is akin to Al Gore inventing the internet. lol.

the climate is definitely shifting, there is no doubt about that. But to think that were going to change it buy driving these gay little cars or switching to energy efficient light bulbs is just ridiculous.
