Some incredible pictures as usual Pat!! Do you just delete as you look at them or copy out the good one's and then delete the folder? Just trying to speed up the process here LOL!!
I'll answer what I've started doing...when I look through I get a paper and pen and write down the good ones as I go. Then pull them to photo bucket, then delete the whole card.
Great pics! Looks like you need to shoot some bobcats and coyotes. That is a cool pic of the skunk, very unique color.
As im scrolling through the card I save the ones I like to a folder. When im done with that card I eject it and put in a container for next round. I format the card on the camera the next time I install it. I will format on the computer every couple months.
I believe its called a "goiter" I have seen similar pictures before but this is the first time on our land. She is a backyard deer so I see her daily and she will be easy to track.
I am thinking I review around 30 to 35,000 pics in a year. I saved a little over 100 in 2012, a little over 300 in 2013 and will end up with maybe 400ish this year. If my numbers are correct you will view 1,161,333 this year and save around 7,000. That's a **** load of data. Do you use the data (pictures) for anything else? Plug it into spreadsheets or software?
Some great pictures there! Some good bucks and plenty of critters! I would agree that some predator control may be in order.
I normally have a folder for my best of the best for the year 2012/2013 had just over 200 in each. The rest of them go into a big folder titles for example KY 2012. Inside that folder is a bunch of small folder titled with the date I pulled the cards. I need to get some of the old stuff on a thumb drive as its taking up a ton of space on my computer. We do offer software with our cameras I need to mess with that a little but thats more for guys that use cams for deer only and Im far from that guy :D
