My morning is already shot. I was at the base of my tree getting ready to attach my climber and I see two flashlights about 85 yards away getting closer. So I packed up and now sitting on the ground in a white oak grove. Gonna give it a bit then take a walk to see if I can find a good tree. Friggen public land Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am off work tomorrow but I am going to use the day to pack/prepare for my South Dakota trip. Two quick night shifts Wednesday and Thursday then we head out Friday morning. I will be out there for a week and it should be my best opportunity to get a good deer on the ground this year. Can't get here soon enough!
Cool, I live in Pierre. Hate to be the bearer of bad news if you haven't heard yet, but they got hit with EHD kinda bad this year. I do know there are some quality deer up there, so I wouldn't get discouraged. Best of luck to ya man, hope you arrow a good one! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Yea this will be my 3rd year out there. Been dealing with that every year it seems. Still manage to stumble across some good bucks. I'll still see more deer in a day out there than I see all season in northern MN!
I am heading back out to western part of the state of Wisconsin at my moms place. I have been beating myself up on which stand to hit Friday afternoon. I know big boy is right behind the farm house. I can't decide on pulling the trigger and setting up closer to his bedding area.
Bucks have finally started to show up on my local property. I'm heading to my northern Missouri spot this afternoon for the first time! I'm hopeful the deer will be active this afternoon and evening.
En route to South Dakota. Going to be out there for a week. I don't have good cell service but I'll try to keep you guys updated. Hope to see some deer hitting the ground soon!
