Thanks all. I do believe that making the land on the west side of the 7 acre pond a deer sanctuary 3 years ago has greatly improved the # of deer on my property. Where this place used to be a transition zone between bedding and feed, I now have both does and bucks bedding here. Looks like this will be a good year and hopefully my son will put down his first bow deer this year!

Here's a close up of that bad boy. A friend of mine thinks he's probably 6 and will score close to 170. He said he'd kiss my butt if it doesn't. Although I appreciate his assessment, I don't want to think about the consequences if he's wrong! lol
