Currently I'm in Florida and as misfortune will have it my son is in intensive care. And honestly it's not looking good for him. He was jumped and beaten up by a group of boys Friday evening. His attackers age ranging from 17-20. he's 15. What caused the altercation who ****ing knows. His mother said he went to the library to check out a video or when to a Redbox to return a video. What is known he didn't have a chance once he past the group of thugs. It could've been from his refusal to surrender a pair of shoes which were removed from his unconscious body. Or from one story his refusal to "Goon Fight". Not gang, but "goon". No arrests have been made and the investigation is on going. His mother has always fought me tooth and nail, about raising him to love my life stances, he love the outdoors and she doesn't. He liked boxing and MMA style karate, She hated it. The very thing that could've helped him she was against him learning. She thought it would make him a target of fighting. In the end, the end it didn't even matter. It was environment not nurturing. So what am I'm doing blogging? I'm waiting here in the waiting room as the shift change, his linen being change, and the doctors make their rounds and evaluations. It's all I can do from screaming. His face and head is swollen beyond recognition......My God! My God! Don't get me wrong I don't blame her for what happened to him I blame me as a father for not being in a fathers place. For not being there for his kids. Why do this **** happens to me I don't know but I wish it would stop. My wife is at my side and his mother is about 8ft away looking at the floor. As for me you guys know how I feel. I'm waiting. In any case I will post 2 more times and that's it. I started this at 5:30 am and it's 7:08 am. This has got to be a parents nightmare. This is terrible. I've spent too much time in ICU waiting and praying, 4 weeks to be exact for my brother who was in a MC accident. He has just been upgraded and will go to rehab some time this week but this isnt about him, it's about your son. Get as many people to pray for him, I have a bunch that will on my end. Please find time to update us along the way. Stay strong brother. And BTW, I hope they nail the bastards that did this.
