This is my first year in contest and going to predict 177. But then again I might not be to picky and shoot the first mature deer I have come by. Most 4 year old or older deer I see barely break 100", but always see 1 or 2 big ones!
Just joined the forum, so I'll be waiting until next year, so this year will be a good practice session.
I'll beat the 0 I got last year, looks like I'll have a lot more time to hunt this year and on better land.
Im afraid to guess points. I just hope I can contribute to my team. And then I also hope my team gets a cool name
I'm guessing in the 190 range. I would really like to break into the 200 point club again, but the quality of bucks on the property right now is just a little below the 150" range this year. Now that I've predicted this I probably won't shoot a buck.
I have yet to pull the trigger on something with antlers I saw a 160 he busted me. Next day a small 6 didn't shoot him spent The rest of the season looking for the big one So my score is something with antlers lol
Hopefully I can tag a doe for 50. Time on stand is up in the air with me trying to go back to anesthesia school.
Well I didn't participate last year, this year is my first time.. If I did last year I would've contributed 203 points (possibly more as my buck is being officially re-scored). I hope to add atleast 150 points to the team this year, but time will tell!
I will say 190 for me this year. I have been between 180 and 190 for three years in a row so it seems like a reasonable number.
