Yup it's definitely time to break out the savage 22-250 and the 12ga. With some BBB shot. I get better results from the BBB than anything bigger. Anyone else have shotgun ammo opinions?

I knocked down a red fox on Saturday with a shotgun and BB shot. Flatten him out at about 20 yards after mouth squeaking him in! Had three come in, but he was the only one that got close enough for the shot gun. And I can't believe I forgot to take a pic!

I don't put much effort into predator hunting due to a lack of time and really long archery season. But I did get my first with a bow a couple weeks ago. He chased off the bows headed my way and came in when I mouse-squeaked.

First one with bow. Got it two weeks ago on the 6th. No idea why I didn't post the picture with earlier post.

    18 andrew. don't fret.
    it'll happen.
main thing is BE SURE to get in undetected. that also mean a QUITE vehicle!!.
now is the time to start using coyote vocals instead of prey sounds.
    be patient.

    good luck

Was more into it when I lived in AZ, but I try to get out a little still.
