I ordered the Spring Green pattern.....it came yesterday, so I put it on, slipped out my front door, slipped around to the back yard and stood at the edge of the woods ,facing my yard.

I whistled, and my two dogs (Beagle, Choc. Lab)came running around the other side of the house to me. They knew I had whistled and were looking in my general direction looking into the woods for me...they got to within about 5 yard and I squatted suddenly flailing my arms out and said BOO!!!!

    THey turned inside out....LOL

    GREAT PATTERN.

I agree, great pattern. Spring Green is what I spend most of my bowseason in.

Its a great pattern, I couldnt agree more, the first week I had mine was during turkey season two years ago.. I stumbled onto a flock of turkeys in the wide open, while crossing an oat field.. They caught my movement and all looked my way.. I immediatly knelt and froze ... it wasn't 30 seconds later and they all just went back to feeding...coming right at me, including a big ole gobbler that I later shot! Anyway they fed by me at 20-30 yards.. I was sold right there.. kneeling in an open field with a turkeys vision..to fool.. I was blown away.. Good luck, I have the spring green for my early archery elk, bear, whitetails seasons...its great stuff...

I have been thinking about looking into this due to rave reviews I have heard from people. I just looked on their website and it appears they don't have 1 piece full body coveralls other then the "heater body suit". Is this true or am I not looking in the right spot. I really prefer coveralls over two piece suits.

    That's awesome!

I picked up some predator camo a few months ago. I can't wait to put it on and get in the woods.

And people think we promote that stuff for money.... Welcome to our world and isn't it something that they are still a "small" company with the best product out there. Unfortunately marketing works and has created a pretty tough market to compete with!

    Spread the word!

Kiddin aside. I'm going to be looking at more what Predator Camo has to offer. They've got a good website. This is one change I may make before the season starts.

Anyone have a recommendation for which pattern to use in Colorado? I was thinking the brown or Evolution. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't focus on the COLORS as much as I would the PATTERN for elk...

If you were buying SPECIFICALLY for this elk trip, I would probably suggest Fall Brown from www.graywolfwoolens.com (it's the only place you can buy FB from anymore...)

Here's a thread I did a few years back on why I don't believe the color is as important as the high contrast and breaking up the outline:

    http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/bowhunting/213556-predator-camo-pics-youve-asked-last-two-years.html

I'm packing five complete outfits in Fall Gray and two in Spring Green for next week's trip to Colorado.

I love Spring Green Predator camo. Too bad they don't offer it in more material varieties though.

You can get spring green in a lot of different materials....if you look around. Wolfskin....wool.....etc....

I've been pleased with the garments I have.
