So I am sitting here trying to decide what Predator pattern to go with for elk hunting in Colorado. And then I thought maybe some of you guys would be willing to post up some pictures of your camo???

So anyone got pics from the field?

Thanks for the link Greg, that was very helpful. Changing things to black and white kind of puts it in perspective as well.

If you were going to pick between the deception brown or deception green for archery in Colorado, which would it be?

I went back and looked at a lot of the photos I have taken while hunting and it seems like a lot of green.

If I had to pick between green and brown as my only outfit, I'd go with brown... just more universal, IMO.

It's the reason I own mostly Fall Gray as opposed to Spring Green... even though "mostly" is a relative term. I own more Predator than probably 98% of the stores who carry the pattern do.

I agree with Greg here. Brown is more versatile. Though, for mostly color blind game animals, it's not going to matter much.

I bought all Fall Brown when I switched to Predator and now usually purchase everything in Deception Brown since Fall Brown was discontinued.

Either way, you simply can not go wrong with any Predator pattern.

NOTE TO PREDATOR: BRING BACK FALL BROWN!!!!

So what pattern is this Greg? Fall grey? Or is it an older brown they offered?

Greg posted....anything I add about Predator will be pointless. :) He's the man when it comes to this pattern.

Ever since being introduced to the pattern, I fell in love. Its the best!

Same here. I wear Fall Gray during all of the hunting season!

Not Predator , but you may want to consider Enigma Camo , this pattern works great in Colorado .
