Anyone have some ideas on when we will start seeing some action related to the rut here in Missouri? Are we looking at an early November rut this year? As opposed to the non-rut that happened last year? If Rut hits full stride by early-mid Nov, at what point do you think we'll start pre-rut activity. I'm on vacation until the 20th, and I'm hoping that some action gets started by then. What do you think? The farm I hunt doesn't have much in the way of big bucks, so we generally see our antlers when they come from woods in the area to check out our does. So it's during those time I'll get a chance to put a nice buck down. The 130's deer my cousin had been seeing before season opened is now all but a memory, as we haven't seen him since about 2 weeks before opener. Hoping he didn't get poached or hit.
Here in WI last year they busted lose on Oct 17 and I got my buck on Oct 21. Hard to guess what this year will bring :D
