    anyone have any idea on how to figure out a close axpproximation of when the pre-rut-and rut should kick in this year..i got a decent spot on public land but the trick is I gotta hit this wma at the pre-rut or forget it..rifle season is bad here

    If you can catch a big cold front the last week of Oct. you could see some great movement from the bigger deer. That last week of Oct. and the first week of Nov. seem to be some pretty good hunting year after year.
